Khalifa Al Khaili: Building qualified personnel is the fundamental pillar of developing the security system

Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, attended the graduation ceremony of the 30th Comprehensive Special Operations Course, held at the Combat Training Village of the Special Security Forces Command in Seeh Al Mahab, in the presence of Major General Saeed Mohammed Al Kaabi, Director of the Special Missions Sector at Abu Dhabi Police General Command, Brigadier General Abdulrahman Al Mansouri, Commander of the Special Security Forces, and a number of senior officers and representatives of the country's police general commands.

He affirmed that the Ministry of Interior continues to implement its strategic vision of building an advanced security system based on investing in national competencies, enhancing operational readiness, and developing specialised capabilities in line with best international practices — ensuring that security agencies are prepared to deal with emerging changes and risks with efficiency and professionalism, and contributing to the country's goals of security leadership and the sustainability of safety and security.

He added that building qualified personnel remains the fundamental pillar of developing the security system, and that investing in quality training, modern technologies, and sustainable readiness represents a strategic priority for the Ministry, enhancing its ability to anticipate future challenges, protect society, and consolidate the United Arab Emirates' standing among the world's most secure and prepared nations.

The course saw the graduation of 62 members from various police general commands, following their completion of an advanced training programme delivered by the Special Security Forces Institute, within an integrated training system aimed at preparing security personnel capable of carrying out specialised missions, enhancing operational integration between security units, and raising response efficiency across various circumstances and security scenarios.

This course comes within the framework of the continuous development approach adopted by the Ministry of Interior to entrench a culture of excellence, readiness, and preparedness for the future, through embracing the latest training concepts, utilising modern technologies, and strengthening integration among the various police agencies — supporting the UAE's standing as a global model of security and stability.

The training programme included a package of advanced operational applications, covering special operations in urban environments, multi-storey building raids, arrest and search procedures, management of security cordons, helicopter rappelling, dealing with ambushes, immediate security response, riot control and order maintenance, tactical shooting, and the execution of field scenarios simulating contemporary security challenges — contributing to the development of decision-making speed, raising coordination levels, and enhancing the operational efficiency of participants.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior honoured the top graduates of the course, expressing his appreciation for the efforts made in preparing and qualifying the participants, and affirming that the knowledge and skills they have acquired constitute an important pillar for enhancing the efficiency of the security system, consolidating community security, and safeguarding the nation's achievements — in fulfilment of the wise leadership's directives and its vision towards a safer and more pioneering future.
