The Sharjah Civil Defence Authority has announced the implementation of a package of exceptional facilitations, including a 50% discount on all civil defence violations, as well as a 50% reduction on firefighting costs, as part of an initiative aimed at enhancing business environment flexibility and encouraging establishments to rectify their situations and comply with safety requirements.

The authority explained that these facilitations come in implementation of an Executive Council decision, and within its efforts to provide more flexible and efficient services, contributing to the support of economic activities and enhancing the competitiveness of the investment environment in the emirate of Sharjah.

It noted that the initiative's benefit period extends for 3 months starting 16 June 2026, and covers violations issued between 2019 and 2026, allowing establishments and individuals the opportunity to benefit from the discounts and settle their situations.

The authority affirmed that the initiative aligns with the Sharjah government's orientations aimed at empowering the business community and consolidating a more sustainable economic environment, by providing practical solutions that balance the application of prevention and safety requirements with supporting establishments in meeting their obligations.

The Sharjah Civil Defence Authority called on all beneficiaries to take advantage of these facilitations during the specified period and to get in touch through its official channels or by calling 06 516 3333 for more information and procedures related to benefiting from the initiative.
