Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai's Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), attended the 29th graduation ceremony of the American University in Dubai (AUD), marking a historic milestone in celebration of 30 years of academic excellence and global leadership in the region.
The exceptional event saw the graduation of a diverse cohort of 445 students representing 57 countries, underscoring the American University in Dubai's standing as a leading centre for international education.
The ceremony opened with a welcome address by Elias Bou Saab, Executive Vice President of the American University in Dubai, in which he extended his deepest gratitude to Her Highness for honouring the occasion with her patronage and presence.
Bou Saab, recalling the inspiring vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, affirmed that their leadership has set a global model for transforming ambitions into tangible achievements, saying:
