Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, has inaugurated the Al Humaydiyah Community Council in the Al Humaydiyah 1 district of Ajman, as part of efforts to strengthen social cohesion and embed the values of communication among members of the community.

The council forms part of the Ajman Citizens Affairs Office's plan to expand the network of community councils across various areas of the emirate, in implementation of the vision of the Ruler of Ajman and the directives of Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, providing a suitable environment for residents to communicate and for hosting community events and occasions.

Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, affirmed that community councils represent an authentic part of the UAE's heritage and play a pivotal role in strengthening cohesion among members of society and entrenching the values of cooperation and solidarity.

Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi said that councils have always served as a gathering place for the people of the UAE to consult one another, exchange views, and strengthen bonds of affection, noting the emirate's commitment to supporting and developing them in a manner that keeps pace with the needs of society and reinforces its stability and cohesion.

His Highness praised the initiatives of citizens and businesspeople in support of community projects, affirming that their contributions reflect a deep-rooted awareness of social responsibility and a commitment to active participation in the journey of development and community service.

The inauguration was attended by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department; His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Head of the Ajman Ruler's Court; as well as a number of sheikhs, senior officials, community notables, and public figures from the area.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Citizens Affairs Office in Ajman, affirmed that the inauguration of the Al Humaydiyah Community Council is part of a comprehensive plan to expand the network of community councils across various areas of the emirate and to provide facilities that serve citizens and enhance communication among them. He added that these councils constitute active community spaces that contribute to supporting local initiatives and hosting events and programmes that reinforce belonging, community ties, and public service.

The Al Humaydiyah Community Council was built at the expense of Obaid bin Ali Al Muhairi, and includes facilities and services equipped to host social and national occasions, as well as to organise cultural events, awareness sessions, and community seminars, supporting its role as a unifying platform for the residents of the area.
