Under the directives of Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, the seventh edition of the Ajman Government's summer programme 'Our Summer is Happiness' will be launched from 13 July to 13 August 2026, continuing its course of organising quality programmes and initiatives that contribute to developing community members' capabilities and making productive use of their time during the summer holiday.
The programme aims to empower younger generations and support an environment that nurtures talent and stimulates creativity, a sense of belonging, and active community participation. It falls within the Ajman Government's strategic directions aimed at empowering people and enhancing quality of life, and represents an embodiment of Vision 2030 'Ajman for People'.
Ahmed Al Raeesi, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee of the programme, said: "The programme is being held for the seventh consecutive year to provide an integrated platform for learning and development that contributes to building the capabilities of youth and young people, and making productive use of their time in ways that benefit them and society."
He added that the organising committee has invited all government and private departments and institutions in the Emirate of Ajman to participate in implementing the various programmes and workshops, thereby helping to provide valuable opportunities for participants to acquire new skills and knowledge, and enhancing the programme's impact in empowering youth and young people and developing their capabilities across various fields.
He explained that the programme represents an integrated community platform that combines learning, entertainment, and skills development, and seeks to instil the values of innovation, teamwork, and community responsibility among participants.
The programme includes numerous diverse themes and activities spanning cultural, scientific, community, and sports fields as well as skills development programmes, targeting various segments of society — male and female — including youth, senior citizens, and people of determination, for whom dedicated quality programmes and activities have been designed to meet their needs and contribute to enhancing their integration and active participation in society.
The organising committee announced its intention to hold a press conference to announce full details of the seventh edition of the programme and to present the participating programmes, events, and summer centres, as well as to reveal partner and supporting entities. Registration for participation in the various programmes and activities will also be opened through the programme's official website, enabling community members of all age groups to register and benefit from the diverse programmes prepared for a summer filled with knowledge, entertainment, and innovation.
