Mansour Jumaa Bu Asiba, Chief Executive Officer of the Specialised Communications Corporation (Nida) — the exclusive and accredited provider of secure communications networks for the Dubai government — has led an official delegation to the Critical Communications World 2026 exhibition and conference, which opened the day before yesterday and concludes today at ExCeL London in the United Kingdom, to review the latest innovations and technologies supporting public security and safety operations and to look ahead at the future of the critical communications sector.
The participation comes within the framework of the corporation's efforts to enhance the readiness of Dubai's critical communications system and keep pace with the latest global technologies and practices.
The conference is one of the most prominent specialised global events in this field, bringing together emergency and public safety network operators, decision-makers, technology experts, and solution providers from around the world. This year's edition is held under the theme "Uniting the Critical Communications Sector and Working Together to Strengthen Its Ecosystem", with discussions covering topics including 4G and 5G network communications, artificial intelligence in command and control centres, cybersecurity for critical networks, multimedia communications, and smart solutions for emergency response and crisis management.
Bu Asiba said: "Our participation comes as part of the corporation's efforts to anticipate the future of the critical communications sector and enhance the readiness of our operational system, in light of the rapid developments in digital technologies.
