The United Arab Emirates national pavilion continued its strong presence at Eurosatory 2026, receiving 4,240 visitors on the second day of the event, which runs until 19 June at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
The pavilion hosted 104 high-level strategic meetings between national defence sector entities and their international partners, reinforcing its role as a leading platform for global defence cooperation.
The UAE national pavilion's participation is supported by the Ministry of Defence and the Defence Balance Council for Defence Enablement, and is organised by ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of MDUN, cementing the standing of the national defence industries sector at the heart of one of the world's most prominent gatherings specialising in defence and security.
Eurosatory, held every two years in the French capital Paris, is a global platform that brings together the international defence and security ecosystem, including armed forces, security forces, companies, institutions, experts, and innovators from around the world.
The UAE pavilion is one of 40 national pavilions participating in the 2026 edition of the show, and has attracted wide interest from official delegations and sector leaders, including delegations from Kuwait and the Kingdom of Morocco.
Participation in Eurosatory serves as a gateway to key global markets, enabling national companies to engage directly with buyers, investors, and decision-makers worldwide, reflecting the UAE's commitment to strengthening international defence partnerships and supporting innovation in this vital sector.
On the second day of Eurosatory 2026, EDGE Group signed 5 memoranda of understanding, including one with Safran Electronics & Defense, with the aim of expanding the scope of joint cooperation to cover broader areas within the two companies' diverse business portfolios.
EDGE Group and 4iG Space and Defence Technologies, one of Hungary's leading defence and technology companies, also signed a preliminary agreement to establish a joint venture in Hungary focused on non-lethal defence technologies, through EDGE Group's subsidiary CONDOR Non-Lethal Technologies.
The other agreements included the signing of several memoranda of understanding with Leonardo, Business France, and Naval Group, reflecting EDGE Group's commitment to strengthening cooperation with the European defence industry and forging strategic partnerships that contribute to consolidating the UAE's position within global value chains.
The UAE national pavilion features a select group of experts and specialists from national entities, including engineers, product designers, and defence experts. Exhibition visitors are invited to explore the pavilion throughout the event to discover the latest Emirati innovations in defence and security, engage with senior industry leaders and experts, and learn about the advanced solutions and technologies on display.
