Qatar's Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday that the security threat level is elevated, urging everyone to remain in their homes and in safe places.
The Qatar News Agency quoted the ministry as saying: "Everyone must comply with staying at home, not going out, and keeping away from windows and open areas in order to preserve public safety."
