Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday praised the US-brokered agreement with Lebanon, describing it as a "historic" achievement that dealt a blow to Iran and Hezbollah.
In a televised briefing, Netanyahu said: "Yesterday... we reached a historic agreement for the State of Israel following direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon." He added: "This is a blow to Iran and Hezbollah."
