The Muslim Council of Elders has strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that struck the Syrian capital Damascus, leaving a number of people killed and wounded.
In a statement issued today, the Council affirmed its categorical rejection of such sinful terrorist acts, which contradict the teachings of Islam, all divine laws, and international conventions and norms, reiterating its steadfast stance against all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at terrorising civilians and destabilising security and stability.
