The Kuwaiti military said its air defences are currently intercepting missile attacks and hostile drones.
The General Staff of the Army noted that any explosion sounds heard are the result of air defence systems intercepting hostile attacks.
It said: "Everyone is requested to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities."
