Israel's ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, said that Israel is seeking a genuine peace with Lebanon in which both countries can enjoy security.
Leiter added that "the tripartite performance-based framework agreement excludes Iran and Hezbollah," stating that "the road to peace between Israel and Lebanon has begun."
