Stations of the Syrian National Center for Earthquakes recorded a tremor at 12:10 a.m. on June 13, measuring 4.4 in magnitude, located 86 kilometres northwest of the city of Aleppo at a depth of 7.5 kilometres.

The centre said in a statement carried by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that the tremor was felt by residents in areas across northern Syria, noting that it is classified as a moderate earthquake and is associated with the East Anatolian Fault system.

In the same context, Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported that the earthquake was recorded in the Nurdağı district of Gaziantep province in southern Turkey, with its effects felt by residents in several provinces, including Gaziantep, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Osmaniye, and Hatay.
