Experiments conducted by scientists at Lobachevsky University in Russia have demonstrated the effectiveness of wound dressings made from cod fish collagen hydrogel in accelerating wound healing.
According to the Russia Today website, the study's findings showed that the new dressings outperformed those made from bovine collagen.
