The Ministry of Culture has announced the launch of its Summer Programme 2026 under the theme "Proud of the UAE", running from 6 to 30 July at its cultural centres across the country, in cooperation with Sandooq Al Watan and the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism's heritage arm. The programme's events will also be held at the Dalma Island Council in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Councils, under the Citizens and Community Affairs Office of the Presidential Court.
Mubarak Al Nakhli, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, said: "The Summer Programme 2026 embodies the Ministry's vision to transform cultural centres into vibrant platforms for learning, creativity, and talent discovery, contributing to the consolidation of national identity and raising awareness of our cultural heritage among children and youth."
Yasser Al Qarqawi, Director General of Sandooq Al Watan, said that this year's Sandooq Al Watan summer programmes have been launched across all emirates of the country, operating from more than 50 venues in private schools and cultural and youth centres.
The programmes and activities focus on building future generations that believe in their national identity and are proud of their country under the slogan "Proud of the UAE", through hundreds of entertainment, sporting, artistic, and educational activities that reinforce national identity. A large number of UAE creatives across various artistic, cultural, and knowledge fields are participating in this year's activities.
