Dubai Calendar, the emirate's official events platform, has unveiled its anticipated programme for July, featuring a diverse lineup of live entertainment events, family experiences, and a wide range of concerts and theatrical performances.

Dubai Summer Surprises returns for its new edition from 2 July to 30 August, transforming the summer months into a comprehensive celebration encompassing shopping, entertainment, and family experiences across Dubai.

Residents and visitors can take advantage of seasonal discounts at leading shopping destinations, along with prize draws and exclusive offers from hotels and entertainment attractions, as well as a varied programme of activities and events suited to all members of the family.

Dubai Summer Surprises on 3 and 4 July will feature free live entertainment shows at City Centre Mirdif and Dubai Hills Mall, including a diverse range of musical and interactive performances by a selection of artists, DJs, and local dancers.

The programme celebrates the launch of exceptional summer experiences over 60 days across the emirate, with audiences able to enjoy distinctive artistic performances by a selection of Arab music stars, including Rahma Riad, Nassif Zeytoun, Amanda Maalouuf, Saif Al Ali, Emirati artist Arqam, and artist Donia.

The comedy play Muntazah Al Khiran will be staged on 4 July at Dubai Opera. Set in a family park outside Kuwait City, it follows a group of people gathering for a peaceful holiday and enjoyable times, only for events to take an unexpected turn with a series of amusing incidents, surprises, unexpected adventures, and misunderstandings between characters, turning the simplest everyday situations into scenes full of humour and laughter.

The show Space Toon Memories on 4 July at the JAFZA One Convention Centre takes audiences on a musical journey evoking the most famous cartoon songs that accompanied generations of children across the Arab world. The concert is performed by artist Asim Sukkar, one of the most prominent voices associated with the golden era of Space Toon channel, presenting beloved works including Dragon Ball, Sabiq wa Lahiq, and Hazeem Al Ra'd.

Renowned Pakistani artist Rahat Fateh Ali Khan returns to Dubai to launch his world tour with a special musical evening at Coca-Cola Arena on 5 July, performing a selection of his most famous works blending Sufi music, qawwali, and classic hit songs. His son Shah Zaman Ali Khan will also participate in a unique musical experience bringing together two different generations of artists on a single stage.

Beat the Heat concerts return for their fifth season as part of Dubai Summer Surprises, running at Dubai World Trade Centre from 11 July to 8 August, with a series of indoor concerts celebrating diverse artistic styles from outstanding talents across the region. This year's programme features performances spanning rock, pop, rap, Khaleeji music, and more, alongside energetic performance acts, theatrical productions, and singalongs throughout the summer season.

Egyptian band Cairokee opens the Beat the Heat concert series with a performance combining their distinctive vocal style and strong stage presence, delivering a selection of their most beloved songs including Matlub Za'eem, Nuqta Bayda, and Roma, among others.

The Beat the Heat concert series presents on 18 July a musical evening bringing together 2 of the region's most prominent artists — Moroccan-Belgian artist Distinkt and Palestinian-Jordanian singer Issam Al Najjar — blending Arabic melodies with world music.

Saudi singer Sultan Al Murshid joins Kuwaiti artist Talal Sam in a distinctive musical evening within the Beat the Heat concert series on 25 July, celebrating the latest trends in contemporary Khaleeji music, eagerly awaited by fans of Arabic pop. The 2 artists will perform a selection of their most widely popular works, including the songs Wala Ghaltha, Rahat Ayameh, and Mesh Hahib, in an enjoyable summer atmosphere.

Candlelight concerts in Madinat Jumeirah on 11 July offer live musical performances in a stunning candlelit setting, where audiences will enjoy re-presentations of selected works by a number of the world's and region's most celebrated composers, spanning a wide range of classical and contemporary pieces performed by a selection of talented musicians.

The show Michael Lives Forever at Coca-Cola Arena on 18 July celebrates the rich legacy of pop legend Michael Jackson through a large-scale theatrical production inspired by his most famous shows, combining live singing with artistic dance performances. The concert is headlined by internationally renowned artist Rodrigo Teaser, accompanied by a live band and accomplished dancers, with stunning visual effects and eye-catching costumes.

The Indie Soulvest evenings on 26 July at Coca-Cola Arena present a unique musical blend combining storytelling with contemporary melodic arrangements, through remarkable performances by acclaimed Indian singer Bismil alongside the renowned band Indian Ocean.
