The National Archives and Library, in cooperation with Emirates National Schools, Al Dar Education Foundation schools, and Sheikh Zayed Academy, celebrated the winners of the National Identity Project for the 2026–2027 academic year during a closing ceremony honouring distinguished students in recognition of their research work and national projects, which embodied the values of belonging, loyalty, and national identity.
The project saw the participation of approximately 1,100 students from educational institutions. A total of 7 research papers from Al Dar Education Foundation schools, 13 from Emirates National Schools, and 4 from Sheikh Zayed Academy were honoured.
Participants, in their remarks during the ceremony, affirmed the importance of the National Identity Project in entrenching values of national belonging and raising students' awareness of the history and civilisational heritage of the United Arab Emirates, alongside developing scientific research skills and making use of historical sources and national documents.
