Terra at Expo City Dubai is inviting families and children on an exciting journey filled with activities to explore nature and creativity every weekend this summer, during the period from June to September.
Terra is offering a season brimming with experiences designed to spark curiosity and creativity and strengthen connections with nature — whether through workshops, family adventures, immersive learning experiences, or moments of reflection and calm. Throughout the summer, Terra provides visitors of all ages with ever-renewed opportunities for exploration, creativity, and engagement.
The summer season events programme is a reflection of Terra's goals in offering interactive experiences that instil a spirit of connection with nature in innovative ways, and in revealing the impact of biodiversity on every aspect of life, including food and beyond. The events list includes activities for tasting diverse flavours from beehives, adventures and experiences that immerse visitors in the exciting world of the oceans and seas, a Bee World programme, and other activities specifically designed to stimulate a spirit of exploration of nature's wonders and to help visitors see the world around them from a different perspective.
Events for explorers
Terra's monthly experiences run from June to September and include a series of new workshops designed for adults and young people wishing to learn new skills and engage with nature through creativity and hands-on experiences. Events include Nature Kitchen (11 July), a Recycling and Creativity Workshop (8 August), and a Nature Photography Workshop in collaboration with Fujifilm (12 September). Workshops run from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at a price of 200 dirhams per session.
Flavours from the hive
Terra visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy an immersive honey-tasting experience and explore the relationship between biodiversity and flavours on 27 June, where participants can sample varieties of local honey, make a beeswax candle, and get up close to the remarkable world of pollinators. The event runs from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at a price of 350 dirhams per person.
