Dubai's events calendar in July features a diverse mix of concerts, musical evenings, and cultural performances — an artistic landscape where creativity from different cultures intersects, blending heritage with innovation in a reflection of the emirate's vibrant creative scene. Dubai draws an elite roster of artists from around the world to deliver live experiences that enrich the cultural landscape and cement the city's standing as a leading arts destination throughout the year.
In this context, Bahraini artist Mohammed Al Bakri will perform an evening entitled "Samratna" at the New Covent Garden theatre in Mall of the Emirates on 3 July.
The evening takes the audience on a musical journey celebrating Arabic and Gulf song, through romantic lyrics and timeless melodies delivered by a voice that blends authentic Gulf heritage with a warm musical sensibility.
The "Samratna" show is distinguished by its refined atmosphere, inviting the audience to engage with a selection of musical pieces and songs that blend nostalgia, memories, and heartfelt emotion within a modern musical framework and polished artistic arrangement. The concert also offers an interactive artistic experience that revives the spirit of traditional Gulf "samaraat" gatherings in a contemporary style, fusing heritage character with modern performance to allow audiences to recapture the warmth of intimate singing sessions in a refreshed visual and sonic format.
Dubai audiences are in for a journey through time, back to the gems of the 1990s, as Syrian artist Asim Sakkar returns to Dubai to present the show "Space Toon Memories", to be held at the Jafza One Conference Centre on 4 July. The Space Toon series is renowned for its beloved dubbed programmes, deeply embedded in the memory of Arab generations, and for the melodies and songs that introduced children to its cherished characters.
Asim Sakkar is one of the most prominent singers and composers who created the musical pieces for this classic animated series, and he will perform the songs that attracted fans from across the region.
Legendary Pakistani singing maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan returns to Dubai to perform his eagerly awaited summer concert at the Coca-Cola Arena on 5 July, marking the launch of his 2026 world tour, entitled "Once Upon a Time".
