Dubai's Culture and Arts Authority, Dubai Culture, has announced it has received 6 international recognition certificates from the European Excellence and Agility Organisation (EEA) in the fields of agility and institutional excellence, becoming the first cultural body in the world to obtain this accreditation and the first organisation in the region to achieve a five-star rating in both the Organisational Culture and Learning Organisation pillars. The achievement represents a qualitative addition to the authority's distinguished record of successes and reinforces its efforts to cement Dubai's standing as a global cultural hub.
Dubai Culture secured this accreditation after successfully completing assessment processes conducted by EEA experts, covering 6 key pillars: agility, resilience, proactiveness, future foresight, learning organisation, and organisational culture.
The results yielded a 5-star rating in the Learning Organisation and Organisational Culture pillars, and a 4-star rating across the remaining pillars.
Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture, affirmed that this achievement embodies the maturity of the institutional model adopted by Dubai Culture and reflects its ability to translate the principles of agility and excellence into operational practices that enhance its future readiness, enabling it to capitalise on opportunities and devise qualitative solutions in support of the creative sector's development and its contribution to building Dubai's knowledge- and innovation-based economy.
She said: "At Dubai Culture, we believe that excellence forms the foundation for building a resilient institution capable of learning, adapting, and anticipating the future, enabling it to create a sustained positive impact that extends to society and the sector. This accreditation affirms the success of our approach in developing a work system built on empowering talent, accelerating delivery, and spreading a culture of innovation and continuous development — all of which aligns with the spirit of the 'Dubai Actions' initiative and reinforces the authority's efforts to enrich the local cultural landscape."
Mansour Lootah, Executive Director of the Institutional Enablement Sector and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at Dubai Culture, noted that this success reflects the authority's achievement in aligning its operational framework with the best global standards in excellence and agility.
Rashed Aref Al Sheikh, Director of Strategy and Performance Management at Dubai Culture, pointed out that these accomplishments are the fruits of an approach grounded in performance measurement and learning from best practices.
