His Excellency Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, today signed his two latest works at the UAE pavilion of the Beijing International Book Fair 2026: the Chinese edition of the book His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan: Insights into the Journey of a Man of Humanity, and the English edition of The Artificial Womb: A Post-Human Reproduction World.

The signing ceremony was held as part of the activities of the "UAE House" pavilion, organised under the supervision of the UAE Embassy in the People's Republic of China in partnership with the Ministry of Culture. The UAE is participating as the fair's Guest of Honour this year, seeking through its participation to present its cultural and knowledge experience to the world through a series of joint Chinese-Emirati cultural and artistic events held during the fair, with the participation of senior officials in the fields of culture, publishing, research, and think tanks from both countries.

The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Hussein Ibrahim Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to the People's Republic of China; Mubarak Al Nakhhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture; Khalid Al Shahi, Deputy Head of the UAE Mission to China; a number of Arab ambassadors accredited to China; and a distinguished gathering of thinkers, intellectuals, and culture enthusiasts.

His Excellency Dr. Jamal Al Suwaidi expressed his gratitude to the organisers and attendees, praising the quality of the arrangements and the warmth of the welcome. He also commended the Beijing International Book Fair and the vitality of China's publishing industry, particularly in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence.

He said the Beijing International Book Fair is one of the largest book fairs in Asia and the world, and represents China's main gateway to engage with the international community. He described relations between the United Arab Emirates and Beijing as strong, characterised by strategic partnership and significant growth in the cultural sphere.
