Sharjah Public Libraries is accepting nominations for the 26th edition of the Sharjah Award for Library Literature (2025–2026) until 30 June, inviting researchers, institutions, libraries and specialists to submit entries for one of the Arab world's most prominent awards specialising in library and information sciences.
The award aims to contribute to the advancement of research and studies in the fields of libraries, documentation, archives and information, while raising awareness of their importance and role in developing the cultural and research landscape across the Arab world. It also seeks to attract researchers at universities and libraries, encouraging them to submit their studies in order to elevate scientific research in this field.
