The National Archives and Library has launched the Chinese-language edition of the book Zayed: A Man Who Built a Nation as part of its participation in the 32nd Beijing International Book Fair 2026, at the UAE pavilion known as "The UAE House". The move reinforces awareness of the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan — may his soul rest in peace — among Chinese-speaking readers and researchers.
Dr Abdullah Majed Al Ali, Director General of the National Archives and Library and President of the Arab Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives (ARBICA), told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the translation of the book into Chinese comes within the framework of the National Archives and Library's efforts to promote the thought of Sheikh Zayed, his humanitarian values and his development approach.
