A research team from the University of Manchester and the Chinese Academy of Sciences has succeeded in developing an innovative and sustainable method for producing ethanol — one of the most important chemical compounds used in fuel and disinfectants — by combining it with hydrogen gas and carbon dioxide captured from harmful emissions.
