JPMorgan CEO warns against broad access to most powerful AI model

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon has warned of the risks associated with making broad access available to the AI model "Mythos", developed by Anthropic, adding that the US government is paying close attention to the issue.

Speaking at an event in Pennsylvania the day before yesterday, Dimon said that access to advanced AI capabilities must be subject to strict controls, adding: "It's like giving ballistic missiles to individuals."

JPMorgan is among the first institutions to have obtained the right to use the Mythos model, which is classified as one of the most advanced AI models.
