The United Arab Emirates tops the list of Arab countries by the size of its commercial maritime fleet, with 655 vessels, followed by Egypt and then Saudi Arabia, while Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar feature among the top 10.
Globally, Indonesia ranks first with more than 11,400 commercial vessels, ahead of China and Panama, with Asian countries clearly dominating the top of the rankings.
