The Dubai Digital Authority has received a new international accreditation after the European Organisation for Excellence and Agility rated it five stars for institutional resilience and four stars for institutional agility, making it the first government entity specialising in digital transformation in the region to receive this classification for institutional resilience — reflecting an advanced level of institutional maturity and readiness to handle change and enhance the sustainability of government performance.
The accreditation followed a comprehensive evaluation process covering leadership, governance, institutional culture, business continuity and the ability to respond to change, alongside agility in decision-making and the implementation of initiatives in line with global best practices.
His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Dubai Digital, said the achievement reflects the success of Dubai's approach in building a resilient government capable of sustaining progress under varying circumstances and conditions, noting that institutional resilience has become a strategic necessity amid the rapid acceleration of technological, economic and geopolitical transformations, given its role in strengthening the digital economy and consolidating community trust.
He added that the accreditation embodies the vision of the wise leadership, which has made readiness, proactiveness and innovation the fundamental pillars of government work, and that it reflects the integrated efforts of work teams and partners in building an interconnected digital ecosystem capable of keeping pace with the future. He affirmed that the authority will continue investing in developing a government digital infrastructure that leverages advanced technologies and artificial intelligence to deliver more efficient and proactive, human-centred services, reinforcing Dubai's leadership in digital transformation.
Henk van Tolleert, Director General of the European Organisation for Excellence and Agility, said the rating reflects a high level of institutional maturity, adaptability, innovation and foresight, affirming that the Dubai Digital experience has presented a successful model for translating the concepts of resilience and agility into institutional practices that are applicable, measurable and conducive to the exchange of expertise and best practices among institutions.
His Excellency Younes Al Nasser, Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment at Dubai Digital, received the two international recognition certificates on behalf of His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori during the honouring ceremony held for the occasion.
