Soneva Group, the ultra-luxury hospitality brand, has announced the launch of its new global headquarters in Dubai. The group stated that the choice of this strategic location will "enable Soneva to deepen its relationships with hospitality partners, attract world-class talent, and strengthen connectivity with key source markets for tourism."
In a related development, the group has reinforced its leadership team by adding three senior executives: Joanna Flint has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer, Chris Whitehouse has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, and Abhishek Sharma has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of the group.
Joanna Flint brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the sector, having previously held senior positions at major organisations including Mandarin Oriental, Google, and Singapore Airlines.
Chris Whitehouse has extensive experience in financial strategy, risk management, corporate finance, and asset management, gained through previous leadership roles at The Dot Group, Candy & Candy, and CBC.
Abhishek Sharma draws on more than 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality spanning the Maldives, India, Egypt, and Mauritius. He previously served as General Manager of the group, overseeing all three Soneva resorts.
