His Excellency Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, has affirmed that the 'Dubai of Action' initiative embodies the ambitious vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, which is built on transforming ambitions into tangible achievements and entrenching a culture of work and accomplishment as a cornerstone of the emirate's development journey.
Al Marri said that Dubai has succeeded, thanks to this vision, in strengthening its standing among the world's leading cities in the fields of economy, tourism, investment and innovation, through a record rich with achievements whose impact has been felt both locally and globally. He affirmed that the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism continues to embed a culture of execution and institutional excellence, driven by the belief that the success of plans is measured by institutions' ability to implement them with efficiency, speed and high quality — in support of the targets of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and in furtherance of the emirate's competitiveness as the best city to live, work and visit.
He added that the wise leadership has established a global model in governance and development, one built on investing in people, boldness in ambition and discipline in execution — the pillars that have contributed to crafting Dubai's success story and made the 'Dubai of Action' initiative an inspiring model for future generations to continue the journey of building and innovation, and to consolidate the global standing the emirate has achieved.
