The UAE government has made a decision to train 80,000 government employees in agentic artificial intelligence technologies, as the country moves towards a new phase based not merely on adopting technology, but on redesigning government services and sectors around it.

Dr Khaled Al Naqbi, a UAE expert within the Artificial Intelligence Track of the UAE Experts Programme, affirmed that artificial intelligence today represents one of the main drivers reshaping governments, economies, and investment markets worldwide, noting that the UAE's AI sector is expected to see significant growth, reaching 170.14 billion dirhams by 2030.
