Dubai will host the second edition of the 'African Market' exhibition from 10 to 12 October, following the exceptional success achieved by the inaugural edition of the fair in 2025.
The three-day exhibition brings together an elite selection of distinctive product owners, innovative service providers, and creatives from the African continent and the Caribbean region, placing them in direct contact with international buyers, investors, policymakers, distributors, and culture enthusiasts.
This takes place at the heart of the world's most vibrant and connected commercial capital. The African Market is a transcontinental trade and cultural platform designed specifically to spotlight leading brands, small and medium-sized enterprises, and export-ready innovators from Africa and the Caribbean seeking access to global markets, enabling them to expand internationally, open new investment horizons, and achieve the global presence they aspire to.
The 2026 edition showcases the richness and diversity of African and Caribbean heritage alongside contemporary innovations across multiple fields, including fashion, furnishings, arts, culinary arts, music, technology, wellness, as well as intellectual and innovative capital.
Ibukun Awosika, founder of the African Market and the Ibukun Awosika Leadership Academy, said the 2025 edition served as clear proof of the concept's success and viability, noting that the world witnessed in Dubai not merely promising potential, but genuine excellence in its finest and most vivid expression.
She added that the platform aims in its 2026 edition to go further and build on those solid foundations by expanding the scope of the event, deepening its commercial focus, and delivering a powerful message confirming that Africa and the Caribbean are not waiting to be discovered — they are fully present and ready to compete globally, carving out a firm foothold in the international market.
She noted that Dubai represents the ideal destination through which the platform invites the entire world to discover the true identity and real capabilities of the continent and its neighbours. Through carefully curated exhibitions, business networking meetings, investment dialogues, cultural performances, and strategic partnerships, the African Market is cementing its position as a leading platform connecting Afro-Caribbean excellence with global investment opportunities.
The event is not merely a trade fair; it represents a comprehensive commercial gateway and cultural platform that creates real and fruitful opportunities for trade, investment, joint cooperation, and cross-border cultural exchange on a global scale. As the platform continues to grow year after year, the African Market renews its commitment to building a sustainable ecosystem where the dimensions of commerce, culture, innovation, and identity converge.
