Trade between Russia and the United Arab Emirates has reached a historic record level, climbing to $14 billion by the end of 2025, according to the Russian government's official website.
The site added that trade and economic relations are experiencing steady growth, with the volume of bilateral trade rising 1.5 times in 2025 to register a record figure of $14 billion.
The economic partnership agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and the UAE is expected to enter into force by the end of this year, which will help improve the quality of trade and achieve greater balance within it.
Relations between the two sides are characterised by positive momentum in cooperation across the industrial, agricultural, and energy sectors, as well as in advanced technology and humanitarian fields.
The expansion of cooperation is expected to represent a significant addition to the Russian-Emirati agreements signed last year on free trade in services and the elimination of double taxation.
