Danube Group has forecast a major boom in the UAE's business community in the coming period, predicting that the country will continue to grow at a faster pace and will provide more opportunities for companies, the business community, and investors who will be more ready to inject greater investment.

Anis Sajan, Vice Chairman of Danube Group, said that Deira represents for him the original starting point in the world of trade, stressing that the opening of a new showroom in the area holds special significance, as the Milano brand began its journey there. He added that the company expects the export market to enter a strong growth phase over the next 6 months, making it the right time to boost investments and prepare for new opportunities.

The new showroom is part of a long-term expansion strategy being implemented by Milano from Danube, which has maintained its investments despite market fluctuations. Following the recent opening of a showroom in the Maleha area of Sharjah, the company continues today to strengthen its presence in Deira, one of the most prominent export and re-export trade hubs in the region.

Deira is among the oldest and most important commercial centres in Dubai, attracting buyers from Commonwealth of Independent States countries, East and West Africa, the Middle East, and the Indian subcontinent, as well as other global markets, benefiting from Dubai's status as a global hub for trade and logistics.

For his part, Sohail Sajan, Director at Milano from Danube, said in press statements during the opening of Milano from Danube's new business-dedicated showroom in Deira that the United Arab Emirates provides the best supportive environment for investors, which encourages the company to strengthen its presence in one of Dubai's most important wholesale and export trade centres.

He forecast that the company will achieve 20% growth in sales over the next 6 months, driven by a recovery in export and resale markets, noting that this is the company's third showroom but is not a traditional wholesale store — rather, it is a showroom that displays products in the best possible way, allowing customers to view and experience them more effectively.

He indicated that the company is already present in Africa, but has not yet reached the level he aspires to. The current priority is to strengthen the company's presence in the African market, where he estimates the current market share at approximately 30%, with an ambition to reach 100%. The company is also focused on expanding in the Commonwealth of Independent States markets, where it has the capacity to supply with ease.

He explained that the new showroom was designed to be an integrated centre serving exporters, wholesalers, and retailers, featuring a wide range of sanitary ware, electrical materials, chandeliers, tiles, and tools, enabling customers to meet their needs from a single location while benefiting from the company's large inventory, competitive prices, and integrated supply chain.

He added that the company maintained continuity of shipping operations throughout the period of geopolitical tensions and rising transport costs, and did not return a single container to its source, based on its conviction that genuine demand in the markets would persist. He noted that this decision has begun to reflect positively on business growth and the recovery of commercial momentum.

The opening of the new showroom marks Milano from Danube's 4th location in Deira, reflecting the company's focus on serving exporters, resellers, and international buyers, supported by an integrated supply chain that includes storage facilities in the Jebel Ali area. These facilities allow the consolidation of diverse products within a single shipment, enhancing supply efficiency and providing greater flexibility for customers across various global markets.
