Judge Omar Al Muhairi, Director of DIFC Courts, has affirmed that the Mediation Services Centre supports Dubai's competitiveness and the sustainability of its business environment, in line with the targets of the emirate's D33 Economic Agenda.
In an interview with Al Bayan, he said that the wise leadership believes in building a more flexible and efficient judicial system that responds to the requirements of the modern economy and gives individuals and companies broader options for settling disputes, recognising that effective justice must provide multiple dispute resolution pathways suited to the nature of each case and the needs of the parties involved.
By embedding mediation within a formal framework at DIFC Courts, Dubai affirms that access to fair and effective solutions that preserve the dignity of parties is an essential component of the infrastructure of a highly competitive economy.
