Ten-month-old cat Toby has entered the Guinness World Records for having the most toes of any cat — 28 in total — according to People magazine.
Toby's owner, Delaney Henderson, from the US state of Michigan, said she was unaware that Toby had 28 toes when she adopted him, and was stunned when she noticed the unusually large number of digits.
She added that she has another cat named Connie, who also has extra toes — but only 4, nothing like Toby's case. Delaney noticed that Toby tended to be withdrawn and quiet at first, but he quickly became more playful, energetic, and fond of jumping around the house after being influenced by the lively Connie, who behaves as though she were his older sister. Toby is in good health and experiences no problems from his extra toes, except for the need to trim his claws regularly.
