Researchers at the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics, a branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Siberia, have confirmed that the length of a day on Mercury is equivalent to 88 Earth days.
Professor Sergei Yazev explained that if a person were to live on Mercury, they would have to wait roughly three months before the sun sets, according to Russia Today.
